The starting point is the highest quality herbs and flowers that are selected by expert mountaineers in the alpine landscape of the Cuneo valleys. Distilleria Bordiga's strong point are the alpine herbs that are still hand-picked and dried at high altitudes by mountain people in an unspoilt environment. This means that the botanicals used are wild, and are therefore harvested without the aid of engines, without pesticides, fertilisers, fungicides and, above all, with enormous attention to product quality while respecting the environment. Each production, just as in the past, is totally conditioned by the succession of the seasons and variations in the climate.
