Barbaresco Riserva 'Ovello' is made from pure Nebbiolo grapes, a great native of the Piedmont region. The grapes of this variety are cultivated within the cru that gives the label its name, characterised by a clay and limestone soil, facing south-east. In the best years, some of the grapes from historical vineyards in the centre of the typical area are vinified separately. The wine thus obtained, having reached its fourth year of refinement, becomes 'Riserva'. It is a Barbaresco of great intensity and depth.
\nProduttori del Barbaresco produces a Barbaresco each year, the result of blending the different vineyards. When the vintage reveals characters of excellence, it is possible to conduct vinifications of the individual crus that, after an ageing in the cellar of 4 years between large barrels and bottle, will be proposed as Riserva.
