The winery was founded in 1896 in Provence, by Marcel Ott, a young graduate in agronomic engineering from Alsace. Marcel Ott bought several estates and began restructuring them with the firm ambition of creating great Provençal wines from noble grape varieties. Today, 120 years later, Jean-François Ott has dedicated his life to his ancestor's love for the site. In 2004, Domaines Ott* joined forces with Louis Roederer and its fabulous selection of wine craftsmen. Domaines Ott* wines are produced between three estates in Provence: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. Each of these estates has its own charm and personality.
