The Mexican region of Jalisco in the heart of the city of Tequila is home to the Fabrica de Tequilas Finos. The distillery employs an experienced team of jimadores who know perfectly all the states of the succulent plant that dominates the entire landscape: the blue agave. They are in charge of cutting the leaves at the right time to obtain the heart of the agave, the piña, and they analyse every single process of distillation production. The Fine Tequila Factory officially started in 2000, after purchasing some land adjacent to an old colonial building, which later became an ageing cellar. Owners Federico Cabo and Luz Maria Cabo had already owned a Tequila factory since 1984 and invested all their experience and entrepreneurial skills to make the Fabrica known around the globe.
