The vineyards of the Argentinian winery Huentala, 230 hectares in total, are located one hour from the city of Mendoza and some of them reach an altitude of 1,400 metres above sea level, making them among the highest vineyards in the world.
Despite the altitude, more than 300 days of sunshine illuminate the plants of Huentala Wines in the heart of the Uco Valley, within the district of Gualtallary, resulting in fully ripe fruit, with thickened skins that guarantee an exquisite result during vinification.
Three styles of Malbec coexist in the vineyards of Huentala Wines: fresh and fruity in the north; spicy, intense and concentrated in the middle; and exotic with notes of fruit, spices and flowers in the south. With all these styles, Huentala succeeds in creating wines that stand out for their structure, great body and tannic consistency, with aromatic and fruity expressions balanced with the necessary acidity and freshness.
