The Domaine was born after the marriage in 1926 of Jean Confuron de Vosne and Anne-Marie Bouchard de Premeaux, from the vineyards they both inherited. Together, they acquired more and began selling their wine in bottles in the early 1930s.
In 1988, Alain and Sophie Meunier began managing the Domaine that belonged to Jean Jacques Confuron, Sophie's father. In order to respect the typicality of each terroir as much as possible, the vineyard has only been managed with natural products since 1990. Some small vines have been worked with horses since 2003, a slow and costly process, but one that ultimately respects the soil in order to favour aeration and micro-oxygenation. Today, Domaine Jean Jacques Confuron represents traditional wines through a profound knowledge of biodynamics with the help of which it obtains 'Terroir' wines, elegant and with great potential.
