Description
Amarone della Valpolicella DOC 2008, from the famous Dal Forno Romano winery, is produced at 60% with Corvina grapes, 20% with Rondinella grapes, 10% with Oseleta grapes and 10% with Croatina grapes. The grapes were harvested solely by hand. This is a great red wine that is appreciated and sought after worldwide. It is a fine wine that is among the most important reds of Italy.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a dark, deep ruby red color. Intense and clean hints of small red fruits emerge on the nose, surrounded by sweet spicy hints and tertiary aromas of chocolate and cocoa. In the mouth it is enveloping and beautifully balanced, intensely aromatic and pleasantly soft with important tannins.
