It all began in the sixties, when grandfather Min and then father Livio started a story that still lives on in Massimo and Marco Zorzettig's Tunella, guardians, together with their mother Gabriella, of more than fifty years of family tradition. In the Tunella of today live together the present and the memory, the desire to experiment and the highest traditions of the Colli Orientali del Friuli: a present that day after day builds its future.
Our winery is called Tunella since 2002: the new name, which replaced the previous Livio Zorzettig, is a toponym which indicates a farmhouse and a hill located near the winery, among meadows and vineyards surrounded by the sweet landscape of Colli Orientali.
Although Tunella is a company with a long history, we have never abandoned the maniacal attention that distinguishes every little winemaker when he works in his vineyard. It is not by chance that our philosophy is "to do little in order to do better": this is the only way we can offer something of excellent quality and at the same time absolutely unique and personal.
Inside every Tunella bottle there are the earth, the sun, the rain, the wind: because wine collects everything it receives. And because we want those who will come after us to enjoy the same flavors and scents, we pay attention to the sustainability of production.

"La Tunella's signature "L'Arcione" has its roots in the Friulian lands bordering Austria and Slovenia in the far east.
The La Tunella winery, an important entity in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, has studied the indigenous grape varieties of these areas with great care and has used all its expertise to offer enthusiasts a wine of fine quality.
L'Arcione truly represents the right choice for all those who want to fully understand the history and traditions of Friuli, allowing themselves to be won over even by lesser-known names of great charm and undisputed potential.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Vivid and intense ruby red with evident garnet red reflections.
Obtained from selected grapes coming from vineyards of different ages, it gives an elegant robustness to the nose and to the taste. At the first impact it is immediately impressive, fine and intense, fruity and spicy, with hints of black currant, cherry, balsamic wood, leather and licorice, closing with smoky aromas. In the mouth is round, of remarkable thickness, with tannins which give it a strong character without however compromising smoothness and balance. The finish is remarkable, very long and rich in flavor.
