For over a century, the Sassetti family has been cultivating vineyards in Montalcino, including the Pertimali estate located on the prestigious cru of Montosoli, on the northern side of the area, ideal for Sangiovese. Today the company is run by Lorenzo Sassetti, oenologist, together with his wife Sabina. Over the years he has renewed and expanded the vineyards, maintaining the heritage of historical vines and following a sustainable management with minimal intervention in the vineyard.
Description
Sassetti's Brunello di Montalcino Pertimali is an intense, enveloping red wine made from Sangiovese grapes from the Montalcino area. It matures 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and develops complex aromas of ripe plums, berries, candied orange and spices. On the palate it is structured, balanced, fresh and with well-presented tannins.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Intense ruby colour with aromas of ripe red fruit and spices. Elegant and structured, with soft, pleasant tannins and a long, lingering finish.

Vinification
fermentation takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28 - 29°C with a maceration period of 10 - 15 days
