Description
Chateau Palmer is an iconic and prized wine from Bordeaux. The 2009 is truly a voluptuous and fascinating vintage. Simultaneously irresistible, powerful and soft, the adjectives it inspires are endless. When we speak of the velvet, the rich fabric that characterises Palmer wines, we mean just that.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has an intense garnet red colour with orange reflections. The nose shows aromas of ripe berries, liquorice, sweet spices and cocoa. In the mouth it is soft, full-bodied, velvety and with a long persistence in the finish.
Storage time:
Over 20 years
Vinification
It takes place according to traditional Bordeaux practices: the individual vineyard plots are vinified separately, the must reaches temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks by gravity, where fermentation takes place.
