Vintage Malt was founded in 1992 by Brian Crook, after many years in the whisky industry as Export Director for one of Scotland's best known distillers. His goal was to produce a range of malt whiskies from the best distilleries in his country and make them available to independent wine and spirits importers around the world. Brian's approach proved so popular with customers that, 25 years later, the'company has exported over 10 million bottles of malt whiskies to more than 30 countries around the world.
Description
Finlaggan Old Reserve is a single malt whisky created by The Vintage Malt Co. The whisky is produced thanks to three natural elements: water, malt and yeast. Finlaggan is a whisky with characteristic peaty and marine notes followed by hints of bush and honey.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Golden yellow color with copper reflections. At first impact there is a hint of peat with medicinal and marine notes followed by honey and cookie. On the palate, it has unmistakable notes of smoke and peat with sweet cereals, barley malt and spices, nutmeg and ginger.
