Description
Gelso Nero is a great pure Nero di Troia. The vineyard is located in Borgo Tressanti in the area known as Daunia. The soil is sandy, and the training system is spurred cordon. The age of the vineyard is 15 years. The planting layout provides for 4,000 vines per hectare. The yield per hectare is 75 quintals. The proximity of the vineyards to the sea brings great benefits, both for the sandy soils that give it minerality and the aeration of the bunches thanks to the sea breezes, thus preventing the formation of undesirable mould. A sumptuous wine with character.
