Description
The most popular bourbon in the world. It has been produced according to an unchanged recipe since 1795 and matured for four years in typical white oak casks. Jim Beam is a bourbon of extraordinary finesse, not light, not heavy, more a 'baritone' among spirits, the secret of this success certainly lies in the well-curated recipe - or simply in the fact that the important things always stay in the family.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Amber-gold colour. It reveals sweet aromas of vanilla and mown hay, dried fruit, honey and herbs on the nose.
On the palate it reveals good body and smoothness, with sweet notes of toasted oak, vanilla and custard. Long on memories of resin.
Storage time:
over 20 years
Vinification
low temperature distillation of a predominantly maize grain blend with a small percentage of rye and barley, called Sour Mash. Fermented twice, Jim Beam White Label is aged for at least four years in internally charred oak casks.
