Re Manfredi was established in 1998 just few kilometers from Venosa, an area which is the real heart of the production of Aglianico del Vulture DOC, An elegant and welcoming farmhouse stands in the center of the property which spreads for more than 110 hectares of vineyards cultivated with Guyot and spurred cordon systems.
Next to the masseria is located Terre degli Svevi's modern and dynamic winery run by Andrea Autino. The winery has a modern wine making facility and a prestigious barrique cellar where wines are aged.
Description
A wine which intrigues for the blend of grapes used, Müller Thurgau and Traminer Aromatico - typically Nordic vines which in Basilicata have found an ideal terroir. Volcanic soils, and strong thermal excursions exalt the aromaticity of the grapes attributing an unmistakable and compelling style to Re Manfredi Bianco.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: straw yellow with golden reflections
Nose: notes of apple and peach and spices such as sage and nettle, accompanied by hints of rose and cinnamon
Palate: the sip is aromatic, soft, fresh and mineral. On the finish surprises with a light residual of sugar
