Description
Malvasia Puntinata is a historical and typical Latium grape variety, which is now being rediscovered by the public thanks to the recent DOC Roma. Castello di Torre in Pietra's version is the result of a staggered harvest and white vinification designed to bring out the characteristics of the vine.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Pale straw yellow, the nose presents delicate notes of flowers and white peach. On the palate, the entrance is fresh, supported by a good structure and then closes on a typical almondy finish accompanied by a pleasant savoury, almost brackish trail. The fine, delicate aromas found on the nose return in the aftertaste.
Storage time:
2-4
Vinification
The Malvasia grapes are harvested at two different times to preserve the freshness of the wine on the one hand and to give body and structure to the final blend on the other. Traditional white vinification to enhance the characteristics of the grape variety and terroir.
