Description

Ron Reserva Exclusiva Diplomatico from Distilleria Unidas is an elegant and complex award-winning tasting rum. Made from the purest sugarcane honeys and molasses in smaller proportions.
It is one of the best blended rums in the world that is distilled in ancient copper pot-still stills for heavy rums and in column and Batch Kettle stills for the remaining 20% of light and semi-heavy rums. It is aged in small oak barrels for up to twelve years.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has a dark amber color. The nose opens with aromas of toffee, orange peel and licorice. In the mouth it is complex and balanced, with notes of oak and vanilla for a long lasting finish.

Storage time:

over 20 years

Vinification

Molasses undergoes a short, 18-hour fermentation with a process to maximize alcohol production. Concentrated cane juice, on the other hand, is fermented for 48 hours.
