The Maison Piper-Heidsieck was founded by Florens-Louis Heidsieck in 1785. It is one of the oldest champagne houses. And a very prestigious producer that in its more than 200 years of history has been linked to the world of royalty, fashion and luxury. Description
Precise and balanced, Essentiel is a multi-vintage cuvée characterised by a blend of 3 varieties, 44% pinot noir, 34% meunier, 22% chardonnay. Its magnificent structure, balance and freshness ensure that this Extra Brut represents the iconic style of the Maison.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a straw-yellow colour with golden hues. Very fine and persistent perlage. The nose releases fragrant scents of brioche, plums, grapefruit, quince, acacia, honey and hints of toast. The palate shows structure and balance.

Vinification process in stainless steel tanks. 30% vinification in oak barrels.
Bottle re-fermentation on the lees for a minimum period of 36 months
