Winery
Regnard is one of the oldest wineries in all of Burgundy. Founded by Zéphir Régnard in the second half of the 19th century. Production is developed in the Pouilly Fuissé area, in the historic Clos du Pavillon where the cellars dating back to 1755 are located. In 1984 the winery was purchased by the De Ladoucette family and underwent major renovations during which the vineyards were restored, among which as many as seven plots are classified as Grand Cru.
Description
Pouilly Fuissé "L'Ancien Prieuré" is a great white wine produced by the Régnard winery in the historic Clos du Pavillon in the Mâconnais area, a southern part of the Burgundy region. This fantstic wine is made from pure Chardonnay grapes from 30-year-old vines located at altitudes between 200 and 300 meters.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a deep golden color. On the nose, the bouquet is rich in white fruit and citrus aromas, with hints of white plum, lime and verbena. The palate is lively, very fresh, balanced with touches of minerality. It is then balanced and harmonious on the finish.
