Cellar

Regnard is one of the oldest wine cellars in Burgundy. It was founded by Zéphir Régnard in the second half of the 19th century. Production is developed in the Pouilly Fuissé area, in the historic Clos du Pavillon where the cellars dating back to 1755 are located. In 1984, the wine cellar was bought by the De Ladoucette family and underwent major renovations during which the vineyards were restored, of which seven plots are classified as Grand Cru.

Description

Pouilly Fuissé 'L'Ancien Prieuré' is a great white wine produced by the Régnard wine cellar in the historic Clos du Pavillon in the Mâconnais area, the southern part of the Burgundy region. This fantastic wine is made from pure Chardonnay grapes from 30-year-old vines located at altitudes between 200 and 300 metres.

Organoleptic characteristics:

It has a deep golden colour. On the nose, the bouquet is rich in white fruit and citrus aromas, with hints of white plum, lime and verbena. The palate is lively, very fresh, balanced with touches of minerality. It is then balanced and harmonious on the finish.
