The history of the Botromagno winery is embedded and contextualised in a UNIQUE territory called 'L' ALTRA PUGLIA'. Gentle hills called MURGE, an evocative word meaning STONE. Cool and temperate climate, subsoil rich in minerals and karst springs! Unspoilt woods and pastures make it a small paradise. Against this backdrop, in 1991, the D'Agostino family decided to invest the skills they had acquired in other sectors by taking over the old Cantina Sociale and turning it into a modern company with ancient roots. The brothers Beniamino and Alberto, in collaboration with a team of agricultural and oenological managers, have shaped a new way of making wine in Apulia. The recovery of the historical ampelographic heritage, skilfully blended with innovation, makes Botromagno a model winery, attentive to the quality of its products, the environment and the health of consumers. The wines are mainly produced using local grapes such as Greco, Malvasia, Falanghina, Verdeca and Fiano for the whites and Primitivo, Negroamaro, Uva di Troia, Aglianico and Montepulciano for the reds.
