Bodega Aleanna winery is a joint project of Adrianna Catena, daughter of Nicola Catena and Alejandro Vigil, the winemaker at Catena Zapata.
Catena Zapata was founded in 1902, in Argentina. Nicola Catena, the winery's founder, was a pioneer in the resurrection of Malbec and the discovery of terroirs of extreme altitudes in the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza. In 1902 he planted his first Malbec vineyard in Mendoza. Today, the winery is in its fourth generation and produces the fine wines that come from six historic vineyards-Angélica, La Piråmide, Nicasia, Domingo, Adrianna, and Angélica Sur.
