Situated on beautiful, predominantly limestone terroirs in the communes of Hunawihr, Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr, the Hunawihr winery's philosophy is to make wine with the utmost respect for the richness and diversity of its terroirs. With the 100% harvests from our vineyards, Anthony Bondon, the winery's oenologist, produces a full range of great Alsace wines recognised by the world press. A cooperative winery on a human scale following a very strict quality policy, production and vinification criteria are stricter than in other ranges to respect the expression and authenticity of each locality. At the top of the pyramid of Alsace appellations, this designation is awarded to wines that meet numerous quality criteria: strict delimitation of terroirs, more limited yields, specific rules for vine management, minimum natural richness, pleasant taste... 51 terroirs delimited according to strict geological and climatic criteria make up the mosaic of the Grands Crus d'Alsace.
