The New Zealand winery Cloudy Bay began its history in 1985 with the first vintage of its captivating and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc. Started by David Hohnen, founder of Cape Mentelle, Cloudy Bay was one of the first five wineries in the Marlborough region. Cloudy Bay currently produces Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pelorus from its Marlborough vineyards, using the technique known as 'méthode traditionnelle'. The quality and variety of these wines are a testament to Marlborough's history and tradition as a wine region. Cloudy Bay is currently distributed by Moët Hennessy.
