The Moreau family has been established in Chablis since 1814, and today Louis Moreau represents the sixth generation. After graduating in oenology-viticulture from Fresno State University (California) and working for several wineries in California, Louis returned to Chablis and succeeded his father. Based on his academic training and eager to pass on an environmentally friendly vineyard to future generations, Louis practices sustainable viticulture in the plots. He always seeks the most natural solution to preserve the quality of his vines and grapes. Today, Louis Moreau, the producer of great white wines, owns 65 hectares, distributed in the different appellations of Chablis : Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Crus and Chablis Grands Crus.
