The winery founded in 1961 is inspired by genius; Leonardo drew inspiration from nature in the vineyard and had an authentic, daily relationship with wine: intimate aspects that we find throughout his life, thanks in part to codes and texts passed down to this day. His passion for viticulture took life from his early years in Vinci, a village in the Tuscan countryside. Leonardo intuited the way to obtain quality wines through meticulous observation of all the natural phenomena that lead to the full ripening of the fruit of the vine and through the invention of tools and techniques to optimize the transformation of grapes into wine. The winery has reconstructed an oenological method deduced from the instructions of the Genius, calling it Metodo Leonardo®, which has been registered and is jealously guarded because it is the key to the quality of their wines. Cantine Leonardo da Vinci has set itself the goal of enhancing the productions of its members' vineyards through practices aimed at the pursuit of quality, both in the oenological and agronomic fields.
