Cantina Pisan-Battèl's production philosophy has always adhered to simple dictates: in the vineyard, constant monitoring of the plants to prevent pathologies and a substantial cut in phytosanitary treatments (the company is currently in the process of converting to the organic regime) to obtain healthy, uncontaminated grapes. Seven hectares of espalier planting with guyot and spurred cordon training, including typical vines such as Bombino Bianco, Nero di Troia and international varieties, are located on the slopes of the Gargano, where a sunny, medium-textured soil welcomes the winds that blow between the promontory and the Dauno Apennines.
A land that marks its fruits with lightness and personality, capable of expressing white and rosé wines with surprising freshness and marked acidity.
