Description
Barolo DOCG "Tradizione" 2018 from the Marchesi di Barolo winery is a red wine with a vigorous but balanced character, produced with grapes from vineyards located on hills of good slope characterized by calcareous clay soils interspersed with compact sandstone layers and covered with quartzose sands and fine silt.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Intense garnet red color, with ruby red nuances.
The bouquet is intense and persistent with clean scents of spices, cinnamon, absinthe, tobacco and wild rose.
The taste is full and elegant, with soft and enveloping tannins.
Spicy and woody flavors blend perfectly.
Storage time:
over 10 years
Vinification
Gentle pressing and destemming; fermentation, at controlled temperature, in thermo-conditioned tanks.
Maceration on the skins for about 8 days with periodic soft pumping over.
Malolactic fermentation in glass-lined cement vats.
