Description
Chateau Canon 'Croix Canon' Sant-Emilion AOC is an excellent red wine from the Bordeaux region of France. The wine was produced from Merlot (77%) and Cabernet Franc (23%) grapes. It is a long-lived, voluptuous and silky wine.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has an intense ruby red colour. Notes of fresh fruit such as blueberries, blackcurrants and cherries emerge on the nose, together with herbaceous notes of rosemary, undergrowth and eucalyptus. The palate is soft and delicate, while the mineral and chalky finish is long and persistent.

Vinification
It takes place according to traditional practices in the Bordeaux area: the individual vineyard plots are vinified separately, the must reaches temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks by gravity, where fermentation takes place. Malolactic fermentation takes place for 2/3 of the mass in stainless steel tanks and 1/3 in new oak barrels.
