Set among the granite rocks of Gallura, in Arzachena, there is the Italian winery of Capichera, a family business which at the end of the 1970's, as a result of a great intuition, determined an important enological passage not only in Sardinia: it was the first winery to value with remarkable success the aging in barrique of pure Vermentino, proposing a model based on a production of very high quality and continuous research through a viticulture respectful and rigorous of the identity of the territory, allowing this grape to reveal its great peculiarities and characteristics.
Many authoritative critics of the sector still affirm that the history of Capichera is the history of quality Vermentino.
The passion, the investment of great resources and the improvement of the production model over the years have defined new and high quality standards, with a priority attention to each vineyard and single plot, enhancing its characteristics.
This process of development has led over time to achieve innovative and exclusive results not only on Vermentino but also on Carignano and Syrah, creating high-profile red wines, strongly identified with the Gallura territory and united by the same production philosophy.
Description
Morning dew is the translation of Lintóri. The name itself wants to tell about this wine, obtained by selecting grapes from the youngest vineyards.
It is deliberately the freshest, most immediate and mineral expression of pure Vermentino, without sacrificing its intense and distinctive character.
Produced since 2010 is the youngest of Capichera's white wines.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections
Nose: intense and fragrant with notes of exotic fruits, lichis, pineapple, rennet apple and aromatic herbs
Palate: fruity, fresh, sapid with citrus and mineral returns. Pleasant finish and good overall balance
