The Ausonia winery is a small, family-run winery established in 2008 from the passion and dream of Simone and Francesca to produce a wine that was not only good, but that would tell in its taste its own specific identity, that of its land and people.
Located in Atri, in the province of Teramo at about 270 m above sea level, the Ausonia winery consists of 12 hectares of vineyards that, after a long process of study, dedication and research, are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. Biodynamic wine is a natural wine, an expression of a defined territory, that of Abruzzo, with a strong, decisive and authentic character, like that of its people. Ausonia's Pecorino Machaon is a fresh and lively white wine that comes from grapes grown in the company's oldest vineyards.
