On the strength of the oenological experience of three generations, the Lunelli family has chosen to cultivate its passion for wine-making excellence to the full, flanking the successes achieved with the Trentodoc Ferrari with a collection of high quality still wines, the expression of three wineries in as many Italian regions: Tenuta Margon in Trentino, Tenuta Podernovo in Tuscany and Tenuta Castelbuono in Umbria.
Description
A Tuscan red wine with a strong Mediterranean vocation and Bordeaux suggestions. Fruit of the selection of the best grapes from the vineyards of Podernovo, the estate owned by the Lunelli family on the Pisan Hills and organically managed since 2012.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Ruby red colour with good chromatic concentration. The nose is clean with clear hints of dark fruit in which mulberry and coffee beans are recognisable. With oxygenation in the glass, the fruit gradually becomes sweeter and riper, with sensations of dark cherries and dehydrated plums. A balsamic touch accompanies and enriches an articulate and intriguing olfactory complexity. The sip is endowed with excellent taste balance and is characterised by fine and elegant tannins. In the closing of the mouth the notes of dark macerated fruit re-emerge accompanied by a slight spiciness.
Storage time:
3-7 years
