Description
Prominent label, dedicated to the poem 'To a mouse' by the great Scottish writer Robert Burns The original Timorous Beastie, was a shy country mouse. Echoing the wit of our national bard, this is certainly not for the faint-hearted! Inside there's a mixture of vanilla, malted barley, meringue, honey and citrus flavours that just can't wait to burst forth. It is part of the Remarkable Regional Malts range, the latest distillation of Scottish malt whisky regions.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Amber in colour with golden hues, the nose is rich, with aromas of honey, dried apricots, heather, malt, apple, to which buttery and citrus nuances are added. In the mouth, it has just the right amount of body, sweet and smooth with reverberations of spices and dried fruits, sultanas, spicy spices, together with a briny finish.
Storage time:
over 20 years
Vinification
Produced from a selection of Highland malt whiskies, in single casks containing several whiskies aged at different times. In the process, bottling follows after blending. Here the whisky is not cold filtered.
