VenticinqueDieci originates in the heart of the Alta Valle di Non, in the municipality of Romeno (TN) at about 980 metres above sea level. The soil, calcareous-clayey and averagely deep, is characterised by a low percentage of skeleton but the slope of the terrain guarantees optimal water management. The company's first Solaris vines were planted in the spring of 2016 with a planting density of over 7000 plants/ha to limit the load of grapes per vine and consequently maximise quality. .
Description
Only the combination of an extremely special variety of wine grape such as Solaris and an incredible plateau at almost 1000 metres above sea level such as that of the Alta Valle di Non can give rise to a wine as unique as VenticinqueDieci. A project, a path towards a now irreversible concept of reality: the protection of the environmental heritage. Through the use of resistant vines such as Solaris PIWI project, the intention is to reduce interventions in the countryside to a minimum, using a vine resistant to parasite attacks. An evolution of the traditional vineyard to be cultivated and therefore in line with a type of environment to be preserved.
