In 1787, the Comte Lafond family bought the vineyards of Poully-Fumé, in Chateau du Nozet, the largest Pouilly estate in the Loire Valley, one of the world's most vocated areas for the production of great white wines. Today, the owner of this historic wine cellar is Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, a direct descendant of the Comte Lafonde. With 165 hectares of vineyards, Baron de Ladoucette is considered one of the best French producers of white wines that boast complexity, elegance and absolute excellence.
