In 1787, the Comte Lafond family purchased the Poully-Fumé vineyards at Chateau du Nozet, Pouilly's largest estate in the Loire Valley, one of the world's most vocated areas for the production of great white wines. Today the owner of this historic winery is Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, a direct descendant of the Comte Lafonde. With 165 hectares of vineyards, Baron de Ladoucette is considered one of the best French producers of white wines that boast complexity, elegance and absolute excellence.
Description
In 1787, the Comte Lafond family purchased the vineyards of Poully-Fumé, in Chateau du Nozet, in the Loire Valley, one of the world's best areas for producing great white wines. Baron de Laudocette's Pouilly Fumé is a pure Sauvignon Blanc. An elegant and refined wine of great structure and finesse.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a golden color with greenish highlights. On the nose the bouquet is rich and dominated by ripe yellow fruits, white flowers and nuances of acacia. The palate is balanced and is characterized by its full and delicate fruit. The structured and solid taste is accompanied by a lively freshness.
