The historic Rapitalà di Camporeale estate is located in Camporeale, in the Palermo area, one of the oldest towns in all of Sicily. It covers 176 hectares in the territory that slopes down from Camporeale toward Alcamo, on rolling hills between 300 and 600 meters, on land where clay and sand alternate. The perfect exposure and soil composition make it ideal for the cultivation of the finest grape varieties. Rapitalà is a true name, coming from Arabic (Rabidh-Allah "river of Allah" from the stream that flows through the vineyards), and stands as evidence that this countryside was cultivated since ancient times.
Description
Alto Reale is an organic red wine from the Rapitalà Estate made from Nero d'Avola grapes. Thanks to the different microclimates in which the grapes are grown, it has a pleasant freshness and delicate tannins.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Intense ruby red color. The nose shows a bouquet of red fruits, cherry and plum. In the mouth it is fresh with delicate tannins and pleasant to drink.
