The historic Rapitalà di Camporeale estate is located in Camporeale, in the Palermo area, one of the oldest towns in all of Sicily. It covers 176 hectares in the territory that slopes down from Camporeale toward Alcamo, on rolling hills between 300 and 600 meters, on land where clay and sand alternate. The perfect exposure and soil composition make it ideal for the cultivation of the finest grape varieties. Rapitalà is a true name, coming from Arabic (Rabidh-Allah "river of Allah" from the stream that flows through the vineyards), and stands as evidence that this countryside was cultivated since ancient times.
Description
Nadir from Sicilian winery Tenuta Rapitalà is an organic red wine made from Syrah grapes. Thanks to partial aging in French barriques, this wine brings out the structure and power that Syrah expresses in the warm Sicilian climate.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Intense ruby red color. The nose has a fruity bouquet with hints of ripe fruit and spices typical of this grape variety. In the mouth it is full and delicate with sweet and elegant tannins.

Six-day cold pre-maceration, prior to traditional pre-maceration, at a controlled temperature of 25°C.
