Description

Arpago is a Primitivo Puglia IGP, produced by the I Pastini winery and cultivated in the lands of Taranto. The wine is made from indigenous grapes grown in the province of Taranto. These are ancient vines, planted with the alberello training system. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates after careful selection of the bunches. Arpago has an intense ruby red colour, enriched with violet reflections that turn towards garnet with age. The nose and palate reveal a full and enveloping taste, with elegant hints of red fruits such as black cherry, blackberry, plum and cherries in spirit. It is a warm, soft and harmonious wine with good structure and long persistence.
