The Terrecarsiche winery of Nicola Insalata, founded in 1939, is the result of a strong family tradition. It is located in central Apulia, in Castellana Grotte. It produces the Typical Geographical Indication and Controlled Designation of Origin wines of Gioia del Colle and Valle D'Itria. The company's wines include a Gioia del Colle Primitivo, Fanova, from vineyards located in Castellana Grotte and Acquaviva delle Fonti. The company's overall production is around 500,000 bottles per year.
Description
"Bianca Petrosa" is a pure chardonnay that represents a unique expression of the Valle d'Itria, where it has found a new home. Its aromas bring to the table a wine of remarkable quality that evokes sensory experiences linked to the territory in which it is processed.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Straw yellow in colour with greenish hues, intense on the nose, with predominantly fruity aromas of yellow flesh, peach and plum, fresh flowers, small hints of lime. On the palate it is soft, but shows a nice acidic backbone and a long mineral finish.
Storage time:
2-3 years
Vinification
fermentation in steel at low temperature for 10-15 days.
