Winery
The Querciabella winery is located in Greve in Chianti, in the cradle of Chianti classico. It was founded in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni, a biodynamic and organic pioneer in Italy, an industrial entrepreneur and lifelong wine enthusiast who bought a single hectare of vineyard on a Tuscan hillside and set about creating an estate that would soon encompass the entire region. Today, Querciabella covers about 100 hectares and produces cult supertuscan wines such as Batàr and Camartina, which have won multiple awards from international critics. Querciabella wines are present in 54 countries around the world and represent one of the undisputed pinnacles of Italian oenology.
