Banfi winery was established in 1978 thanks to the will of Italian-American brothers John and Harry Mariani. Since the beginning, the two brothers envisioned a large-scale project, integrating a quality wine production with a modern winery with the objective of always maintaining the high quality level of the wines produced. Alongside the Mariani family, Ezio Rivella, one of the greatest Italian enologists, who immediately believed that because of the richness of the nature of the soil and the privileged microclimatic position, the acquired territories would have had great development potential. In those years, brothers John and Harry also took over the historical Piedmontese winery Bruzzone, active since 1860 and specialized in the production of sparkling wines, in order to make it the Piedmontese brand of the group, today Banfi Piemonte.

Castello Banfi is a Brunello that comes from the vineyards of the Tuscan Banfi winery. A rich and elegant Brunello, as much in structure as in olfactory expression.

Organoleptic characteristics:

The wine has a bright ruby red color with garnet-colored highlights. The nose has a sweet and fruity aroma, with hints of fresh red fruit. The structure is powerful and the palate is pleasantly enveloped by a consistent tannic texture.

Storage time:

20 years
