Description

Les Béguines' was the first ever Champagne made by vigneron Jérome Prevost, skilled as few in exploiting Meunier from vineyards located in Gueux, at the foot of the Montagne de Reims. Rather than follow the traditional Champagne model of blending grapes, vintages and vineyards to produce a 'standardised' product, Jérôme and his fellow 'Champagne Renegades' produce terroir-specific bottlings dedicated primarily to one grape and one vintage. It is a champagne that never tires, fresh and dynamic and constantly changing every time you approach the glass; les beguines will develop all its complexity as it ages.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Distinguished by fine bubbles and abundant, persistent mousse. Aromas of orange peel, fresh fruit, red berries and peach, mixed with hints of nuts and marzipan. Warm spices and hay on the finish. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated.
