Description
Eminente,the new Cuban rum launched in 2020, originates from what locals call "Isla del Cocodrilo," because of its shape similar to that of the large reptile that populates it.
In fact, the glass bottle, which is strictly recycled, resembles the very skin of the caiman, a clear reference to Cuba. Eminente was born from the skillful collaboration between Moët Hennessy and Cuba Ron. The recipe was created by César MartÃ, the island's youngest Maestro Ronero. A rich, full-bodied rum that draws inspiration from 19th-century Cuban sugarcane brandy ("aguardiente") and its complexity. Building on these refined aguardientes, Eminente sets new standards with Reserva, made with 70% aged spirit-the highest percentage among all Cuban rums.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Intense, lumoinous amber color with hues that turn to copper
The nose is rich and deep, releasing hints of sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon, toffee, roasted notes of coffee, almonds and cocoa.
Full-bodied on the sip and incredibly deep, the palate is rich with vanilla and peaty hints of coffee and raspadura, the flavor of unrefined sugarcane.

Vinification
Blend of aged aguardientes (about 70%) percentage among the highest on the island, considering we usually talk about 8%, and light rums made from more than a hundred varieties of sugar cane. The aguardiente gives complexity and depth of flavor, while the light rum adds vitality, thanks to the strength of the alcohol. aged in ex-Whisky white oak barrels for 7 years.
