Agricole Vallone is a symbolic company of the Apulian territory. It was founded in 1934 after the merger of two farms, Tenuta Flaminio in Brindisi with Tenuta Iore in San Pancrazio Salentino. The history of Azienda Vallone is the story of a family that has dedicated passion to seeing its original wine project grow and that, in the second half of the last century, became the protagonist of an innovative process with which it contributed to changing the perception of Apulian wine in Italy and the world. Agricole Vallone is a production reality of 500 hectares divided into 3 estates in the municipalities of San Pancrazio Salentino, San Pietro Vernotico and Carovigno.
Description
Flaminio Ottavianello Ostuni DOP 2022 from the Vallone winery is a red wine made from Ottavianello grapes. Ottavianello is an indigenous grape typical of the upper Salento region. Genetically similar to Cinsault. It is a harmonious, savoury, elegant, fresh wine with a long aftertaste.
Organoleptic characteristics:
A pale ruby red, cherry-coloured, brilliant wine. The nose is delicate, fruity and floral. In the mouth it is harmonious, savoury, elegant, fresh and long.
Storage time:

Vinification
Fermentation with temperature-controlled maceration in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 15 days. Then spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
