Agricole Vallone is a symbolic company of the Apulian territory. It was founded in 1934 after the merger of two farms, Tenuta Flaminio in Brindisi with Tenuta Iore in San Pancrazio Salentino. The history of Azienda Vallone is the story of a family that has dedicated passion to seeing its original wine project grow and that, in the second half of the last century, became the protagonist of an innovative process with which it contributed to changing the perception of Apulian wine in Italy and the world. Agricole Vallone is a production reality of 500 hectares divided into 3 estates in the municipalities of San Pancrazio Salentino, San Pietro Vernotico and Carovigno.
Description
Castel Serranova I.G.P. Salento 2018 from the Agricole Vallone winery is a balanced, well-structured red wine. It is made from Negroamaro and Susumaniello grapes of the indigenous variety of Apulia Salento.
It is a long-lived wine that can give unique emotions with its complex, intense and persistent bouquet.
Organoleptic characteristics:
A wine of intense ruby red colour with violet hues.
It presents fascinating aromas of berries, ripe cherries, blackberry
currants, spices and balsamic notes. The palate is harmonious, voluminous,
consistent with a strong body and a thick, silky tannic texture.
