Description
From the ancient Greek φρήν, 'FREN' is the soul, the essence of the old Aglianico vines cultivated in 'starsete'.
It is a TAURASI DOCG aged for two years in large wooden barrels and another year in steel and bottle.
Its colour is ruby red tending to garnet, and it has an intense and broad nose with aromas of morello cherry and plums accompanied by notes of tobacco.
The taste is enveloping, structured soft and persistent.
