With tenacity they transformed a dream into a real life path giving origin to the winery in Paternopoli.
Description
From the ancient Greek φρήν, "FREN" is the soul, the essence of the old Aglianico vines cultivated in "starsete".
It is a TAURASI DOCG aged for two years in large wooden barrels and for one year in steel tanks and bottle.
Its color is ruby red tending to garnet, has an intense and ample nose with aromas of morello cherry and plum accompanied by hints of tobacco.
The taste is enveloping, structured soft and persistent.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Ruby red tending to garnet, it has an intense and ample nose with scents of morello cherry and plum accompanied by notes of tobacco, black pepper, licorice and hints of mint and incense.
On the palate it is enveloping, structured, with good smoothness and long persistence of ripe cherry and small black fruits.
The sip is fresh, smooth and persistent.
