The Gaja family settled in Piedmont in the mid-17th century. Five generations have taken turns in wine production since Giovanni Gaja, in 1859, founded the winery in Barbaresco, in the heart of the Langhe.
Today Gaja owns about 250 hectares of vineyards in the provinces of Tuscany and Piedmont, producing about 350,000 bottles annually.
Description
Dagromis is an excellent Barolo from the famous Gaja winery that comes from pure Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards in two great Barolo terroirs, La Morra and Serralunga. The power of Serralunga and the elegance of La Morra result in an intriguing Barolo.
Organoleptic characteristics:
It has a garnet red color. The wine accompanies of small red fruits to intense floral and balsamic notes. The palate reveals a solid structure. Remarkable aging potential.
