Podere 29 is located in the centre of the Tvoliere delle Puglie, in the Cerignola area. A passion, that linked to the production of wine, of quality wine, which has been handed down from generation to generation. The company's philosophy is based on organic farming, so that everything is according to nature. Approximately 22 hectares of land between the sea and the countryside, Podere 29 is mainly dedicated to autochthonous vines, such as Fiano, Primitivo, Minutolo, but above all top labels with Nero di Troia.
Description
Gelso Nero is obtained from the selection of 100% Nero di Troia grapes, the most representative variety of the Dauno territory. Harvesting is done by hand, in the early hours of the day to keep grape temperatures low and avoid the onset of fermentation. In the Cerignola countryside between the hills and the sea in an environment where nature has bestowed beauty and warmth, this Nero di Troia is a wine of great elegance and typicality.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Dense ruby red colour
Aromas of typical red fruits such as figs, hints of sweet, pungent spices such as black pepper and cloves and a finish of underbrush.
On the palate it is full, juicy, characterised by firm tannins and a floral, slightly almondy finish.
Storage time:
3-5 years
Vinification
Harvesting is done by hand, in the early hours of the day to keep grape temperatures low and avoid fermentation. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is left to mature for six months in steel to favour the varietal aspect.
