Description

Named after the winegrowing village of Tramin in the Bassa Atesina, this grape variety is a cornerstone of the range of white wines produced in South Tyrol. It grows in low shoots on guyot training systems in the best vineyards in the plain around the village of Cortina s.s.d.v.. The favourable position, ideal sunshine and good aeration of the bunches are the optimal conditions for enhancing the characteristic qualities of these grapes.

Organoleptic characteristics:

Very bright straw yellow colour with golden variations. Aroma with herbaceous notes, reminiscent, like Muscat, of dried flowers, carnation and rose petals Round, aromatic, rich, fresh and lively flavour with low, soft acidity

Asian-inspired sweet and sour dishes, spicy dishes, vegetarian first courses, risottos with vegetables, vegetables

Vinification

The grapes are cold macerated for 6-8 hours before pressing in order to accentuate the fruity aroma of the wine. After gentle pressing, the deposits are left to decant naturally. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks with pure yeasts pure yeasts at a controlled temperature of 19°.
