Description
XO is the flagship armagnac in this collection. It blends Bas-Armagnac and Armagnac-Ténarèze eaux-de-vie, made from the Baco and Ugni Blanc varieties. The youngest spirit that makes up XO rests in barrels for at least 10 years, the oldest in oak barrels for more than 30 years.
Organoleptic characteristics:
Coppery amber color with burnished copper undertones.
The nose offers hints of candied plum, reine-claude, oak and red fruits.
Very intense and balanced palate, hints of oak, quince and sour cherries followed by almonds and closing on spicy notes.
